And now for a little bit bigger project. Here I am repairing the rotted out rear seat section of the Sprint with a donor section I retrieved from a local salvage yard. After cleaning, the patch was not much better than my car. Well, at least it was no longer in a car making it easier to patch the patch.......
Cut mark and cut out the rotten stuff:
Leaving only the good metal where possible:
Cut out a replacement piece and bend it around the leg of the welding table pictured:
Twist, bend, clamp, hammer to test fit:
