The driver side toe board and floor were rotted out. This was a good place to practice the butt-weld technique.
First measure the area to be cut:
Cut out the spot welds and apply the 5 inch cut-off wheel (being careful not to damage the 4-spd cut-out support):
Cut out the toe-board section (make sure you don't slice up the torque box underneath):
Line up the toe-board patch panel:
After an hour or so of fitting cutting and refitting line up the second panel as well and be sure to
add the appropriate plug weld holes where the old spot welds once resided:
